It's the start of another short weekend.
We suffer five days of being beaten down,
and we only have two more in which to meand.

I should be out enjoying life,
but I don't seem to have the energy.
It's taken me too long to realise,
that they're just sucking the life right out of me.

I'd like to think that I could get away,
from this soul sucking society,
but any where you care to go my friend,
they'll just use you up and throw you away.

They don't even seem to have a master plan,
and excuse for all the husks they leave behind.
In our life long battle to keep ahead,
why do we follow those who act like they're blind?
